COMPLEX NUMBERS

ASSALAMUALAIKUM.

Just wanna share some mathematic formula that have been use in matriculation. i remembered when my sister told me that math in matriculation is easy, but i cant find it easy. i will try my best to make ME think math is easy, i just need more effort to do an exercise. as says goes, practice makes perfect!

1. COMPLEX NUMBER

  • Z = X +Yi

*Yi is imagenary part
* X is real part

              eg: 8+6i
                    *6i is imagenary part
                    *8 is real part

  • Z*- Conjugate ( changing the sign of the imagenary part)
              eg: 8+6i  ------   8-6i

                    -8+6i -------  -8-6i

  • simplifying expression where the denominator of fraction is a complex number
                          (a+bi)(a-bi) = a2 b2i2                                       notes: i2 = -1

  • polar form     Z = r(cos(rad) + i sin(rad) )
step 1: find r using modulus
step 2: find (rad) using formula arg(z)

DNA

ALL ABOUT DNA...

Deoxyribonucleic acid or DNA is a molecule that contains the instructions an organism needs to develop, live and reproduce. These instructions are found inside every cell, and are passed down from parents to their children

DNA STRUCTURE
DNA is made up of molecules called nucleotides. Each nucleotide contains a phosphate group, a sugar group and a nitrogen base. The four types of nitrogen bases are adenine (A), thymine (T), guanine (G) and cytosine (C). The order of these bases is what determines DNA's instructions, or genetic code. Similar to the way the order of letters in the alphabet can be used to form a word, the order of nitrogen bases in a DNA sequence forms genes, which in the language of the cell, tells cells how to make proteins. Another type of nucleic acid, ribonucleic acid, or RNA, translates genetic information from DNA into proteins.
The entire human genome contains about3 billion bases and about 20,000 genes
Nucleotides are attached together to form two long strands that spiral to create a structure called a double helix. If you think of the double helix structure as a ladder, the phosphate and sugar molecules would be the sides, while the bases would be the rungs. The bases on one strand pair with the bases on another strand: adenine pairs with thymine, and guanine pairs with cytosine.

DNA molecules are long — so long, in fact, that they can't fit into cells without the right packaging. To fit inside cells, DNA is coiled tightly to form structures we call chromosomes. Each chromosome contains a single DNA molecule. Humans have 23 pairs of chromosomes, which are found inside the cell's nucleus.

DNA was first observed by a German biochemist named Frederich Miescher in 1869. But for many years, researchers did not realize the importance of this molecule. It was not until 1953 that James Watson, Francis Crick, Maurice Wilkins and Rosalind Franklin figured out the structure of DNA — a double helix — which they realized could carry biological information. Watson, Crick and Wilkins were awarded the Nobel Prize in Medicine in 1962 "for their discoveries concerning the molecular structure of nucleic acids and its significance for information transfer in living material." [Related: Unraveling the Human Genome: 6 Molecular Milestones]
DNA sequencing is technology that allows researchers to determine the order of bases in a DNA sequence. The technology can be used to determine the order of bases in genes, chromosomes, or an entire genome. In 2000, researchers completed the first full sequence of the human genome.
Your DNA contains information about your heritage, and can sometimes reveal whether you're at risk for certain diseases. DNA tests, or genetic tests, are used for a variety of reasons, including to diagnose genetic disorders, to determine whether a person is a carrier of a genetic mutation that they could pass on to their children, and to examine whether a person is at risk for a genetic disease. For instance, mutations in the BRCA1 and BRCA2 genes are known to increase the risk of breast and ovarian cancer, and analysis of these genes in a genetic test can reveal whether a person has these mutations.
Genetic test results can have implications for a person's health, and the tests are often provided along with genetic counseling to help individuals understand the results and consequences of the test.

EDUCATION

1 žToday, educators are turning to computers to assist with education. Many schools & companies equip labs & classrooms with computers.
žUsage:
oTeachers : use IT to do research for teaching materials, participate in online forum and online reference, use software (prepare lecture notes)
oStudents : use IT as reference tools for finding information in the Internet
oSchool Administrators : use IT for keeping students and teachers record

žExample of applications:
Courseware
Educational portal (e-portal)
Web based learning
Learning Management System

SCIENCE

žBreakthroughs in surgery, medicine, & treatments often result from scientists’ use of computers.
žUsage:
Use computers to assist them with collecting, analyzing, and modeling data.
Scientists also use the Internet to communicate with colleagues around the world
ž
žExample of applications:
A cochlear implant.
An electrodes implant.
A neural network.

PUBLISHING

žThe process of making works available to the public. These works include books, magazines, newspapers, music, film, and video.
žMany publishers make their works available online & some Web sites allow you to copy the work, such as a book or music.
žExample of applications:

AVOCADO

ARE AVOCADO IS A FRUITS OR A VEGETABLES??

Avocado are now widely use at many restaurant to take place mayonnaise in a meal as a healthier options. it has many benefits for our health because of nutritious element in it such as

1. high in monounsaturated fats which help to lower cholesterol. This is where the bad rap comes from. While they are “high in fat”, this is the GOOD kind of fat that our bodies actually need.
2. one of the most vitamin-rich foods on the planet, high in vitamins A, C, D, E, K, B-6, B-12 and 6 other types of B Vitamins
3. have more potassium that even bananas, 30% more in fact. Potassium is great for regulating our blood pressure and for preventing several types of circulatory disease.
4. high in fluorine, a chemical that our body uses to fight off disease and infection from normal germs and viruses. Fluorine also helps to keep our teeth and bones from becoming brittle.
5. are good for the eyes. The lutein found in avocados helps to improve our eyesight and reduce the risks of macular degeneration and cataracts as we age.
6. help fight many forms of cancer. The phytonutrients and oleic acids found in this magical fruit have been proven to help prevent prostate and breast cancer, two of the deadliest forms of all.

so, are avocado is a vegetables because it mostly have nutritious element same as common vegetables or a member of fruits. the answer is...

an avocado is a fruit, and to be more specifically it is a berry with a powerful and nutritious benefits
it might be inclined to call it a vegetable, thanks to its green hue and savory taste, but the avocado is technically a fruit, and even more specifically, a single-seeded berry.

as we already know the benefits, i will share how to make delicious avocado smoothies

 ingredients:
  • 1 frozen banana (the riper the sweeter)
